The Spring Thing Craft Fair, You Won't Want to Miss It!




We're stocking up our shops and dusting off our displays because The Maryland Promotions Team 2nd Annual Craft Fair, The Spring Thing is right around the corner!


Come spend the day with The Maryland Promotions Team! Over 30 unique shops are all geared up to participate, along with fresh grilled burgers, dogs, sausages, beverages, chips and home baked goods, face painting, henna tattoos, photo ops with the Things, crafts and activities for the kids, a raffle basket full of handmade goods, door prizes, giveaways and more!

The products are all handmade by local artisans and include jewelry, bath and body, home and garden, children's accessories, catnip toys, candles, book origami, painted bras, Hunger Games and Harry Potter specialty items, baby products, stained glass, crochet, journals, fine art, costumes, mini top hats, anime hats and much more!

For the kids, we have Furoshikis, sponsored by Etsy, to paint. Originating from Japanese culture where it promotes caring for the environment and reducing waste; Furoshiki is the eco-friendly wrapping cloth. Using techniques similar to origami, it can be used for gift wrapping, grocery shopping or simply as decor. Once painted, you can use it to carry all of your purchases for the day. There'll be Things walking around for photo ops and we also have a stand up Thing, so that the kids can insert their own face! Our face painter is back this year and we've added henna tattoos!

A food vendor will be making fresh burgers (including turkey), dogs, sausages with all the trimmings. He'll have cold soft drinks and water, along with chips and home baked desserts! We'll also have a bake sale to help toward planning for next year's event, so you can take some good stuff home with you for later. A limited number of tables and chairs will be available for you to take a rest from your shopping and enjoy lunch.

Plan on stopping by our welcome center and entering the 50/50 and door prize contests! Also, be sure to look for special giveaways from vendors while you shop! Be sure to mark your calendars because this is a day for the whole family that you won't want to miss!
