Team Craft Fair

The very week after our nasty Sandy, was the date for our 1^st craft fair! It was an outdoor event. The

temperature did not go over 50 degrees, and wind would sneak up, gush through, and disappear over and

over again.

BUT…

Melissa Tyler had founded The Maryland Promotions Team so that the members of the team would be

close enough to gather together for such events as this and we were not going to let a little thing like a

hurricane keep us from this.

So in spite of all the adversity…

All 25 shops showed up,,

and set up .....

and welcomed those

who ventured out

on this uncharacteristically cold windy early November day!

Lets take a walk though the 2012 Fall Frolic
and meet the Vendors……

She has a shop of colorful wedding and home decor items.
Charity is happy to take custom orders

Now set up next to Charity is Edith,

Edith is Charity's Mom and the owner of Luvin Stitchin 4 U
Edith specializes in counted cross stitch, embroider,
and country style pillows.
She loves stitching and hopes you find something
special created just for you.

On the other side of Charity is Abby,

Welcome to Dudley’s Desserts

Abby says, “We love sweet treats and decorating toppers!”

In her shop you will find fondant and gumpaste cake and cupcake toppers.

In front of Abby is Leah and Sharon,

Their shop is Sweet Girl Co. Knits
They are creating classic hand knit and crochet accessories
with a whimsical flare for the unique, fun and feminine individual.

Then next to Leah and Sharon is Neiksha,

The Shop is Decorative Matters

Her Etsy shop is filled with colorful hair clips, bows,

hair bands and ribbons.

Functional stoneware, all handmade.

Anne says “I am a creative and love to make.

My pottery is completely handmade.

She started making duct tape roses to use as the bouquets in her wedding

and she enjoyed making them so much that she started

making duct tape rose pens to use for fundraising.

Shelby was one of the first two shops on Etsy

to carry Hunger Games inspired items,

and she says “I try to be as original as possible.

I like to bring something new to the table.
